La tapa dura es una clase de encuadernación para libros y proyectos de fin de carrera. La encuadernación en tapa dura es también conocida como encuadernación en cartoné. El núcleo de la tapa dura suele ser de cartón muy resistente, recubierto con diversos materiales (papel, lino, cuero, etc.). Esto la convierte en el tipo de encuadernación más robusto y protege de forma fiable su contenido del entorno exterior. Es la encuadernación más popular a la hora de llevar a imprimir tu TFG, tu TGM o tu disertación.
En principio, el departamento, la cátedra o el profesor deciden qué tipo de encuadernación hay que elegir para el TFG, el TGM o la tesis doctoral. Básicamente, la tapa dura resulta adecuada para todos aquellos documentos que posean una especial significación y deban encuadernarse en consecuencia. En especial, si deseas imprimir y encuadernar tu PFC la tapa dura es perfecta para ti, adecuada para un TFG, TFM o una tesis doctoral. Pero también aquellas obras que sean únicas o que deban causar una impresión especial son perfectas para la tapa dura, por ejemplo, un trabajo de fin de proyecto o un artículo técnico.
Los proyectos más pequeños o memorias de prácticas quedan mejor terminados con una encuadernación térmica o una en espiral.
La tapa dura es óptima para los trabajos más importantes, que debes sacar a escena con un aspecto elegante. Con la encuadernación en tapa dura, tus documentos académicos con una extensión de entre 10 y 370 páginas pueden encuadernarse con total facilidad y con una gran calidad.
La encuadernación en tapa dura consta de dos tapas de cartón para las cubiertas delantera y trasera y una tira de cartón para el lomo. Los elementos de cartón están recubiertos por materiales que varían entre la encuadernación de tapa dura premium y la estándar.
En el segundo paso del proceso se pegan a la encuadernación en tapa dura las páginas del contenido encoladas con dos robustas guardas. and had to print and bind my Honors Thesis.
